Hi, I am Michael Wallace and I am passionate about wood working. I work out of a small studio in southern New England. Starting from a young age, I have been creative, and love to work with my hands. Professionally I have
worked in manufacturing of aerospace components for 40 years. Wood working has always been a way to create items not by computerized machine but by hand. By hand where you control every cut, and shape the piece to what is inside the wood. Each piece has its own look and feel, a new life.

I mostly use wood that I have salvaged from storm damage, scrap piles, or clear cutting. This gives me challenges because the wood is not perfect, precut, or dry. Each piece has something inside, and I hope you will enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating them.

My daughter Jessica is the brains of this adventure.  She runs the business side of Wallace Wood Studio.  Doing this while raising a family, and working as a PA.  She also is creative, and her works will be featured one day. Together we make a great team.
